How do you cope if your mother don't love you and hurts emotionaly?

Have you tried talking to her about how you feel? Idk for some peiple they don't know how to show love because they'd never had it themselves.. I don't know your mother so idk what the deal is with her :/ some people are genuinely hateful even to their own children while others are just cold and emotionally distant..

@fernie...i understand that but for most carrying a baby to term creates a bond. Fortunately the number of those "others" are small. I sincerely hope some kind of breakthrough can be found. My children are the world to me.

I sent her money because my grand mother lives with her. Recently I was diagnosed with isnomia and no one here to care about me😥

MartinTheFirst ..that's right so, saying "she's your mother" makes no sense. Mine was a violent monster and when I ran away from her at 17, I was demonized and always I heard that expression "but she's your mother" meaning...go back and let her abuse you because she's your mother. nonsense

MartinTheFirst ...what does "she's your mother" mean? Just because someone gives birth does not automatically make them a loving parent. Many never should have had kids.

Mom and I don't see eye to eye but I know She loves me, I haven't spoken to her in years. That seems to save my sanity

MartinTheFirst ...that sounds pretty but you really don't get it. In order for people who were brought up by abusive parents to take care of themselves, they often must stay miles away from the abuser...even and especially as adults. It's not physical abuse as adults that we run from...it's emotional abuse..worse than physical... .those kinds of mothers will suck the life out of you. The word mother has a pretty meaning to you. Not to everyone.

What do you mean by "don't love"? People express love in different ways. Some physically. Some emotionally. Some through indirect acts. It depends how they were raised. Was there a moment where you two had a falling out? Could it be as simple as pride in the way and saying I'm sorry?

Fernie - no, meaning try to make it up with her. When youre adult, youve got to start acting adult. They can not abuse you anymore so be a better person. Thinking that she is somekind of demon is silly.

Fernie - a mother usually have love for their children even if its surpressed ^^ this could be one of those cases. However yeah, theres mothers who are wicked, mothers have even eaten their babies in the history. :)

Youre 26-30, you dont have to let her abuse you anymore. Meet her in person and just talk, theres no way that she can abuse a grown woman if you dont give in to her ways, try to get her to loosen up to your ways instead :)
