As much as I hear about the wage gap I never hear any solutions.

It's a genuine question I'm asking here. What should be done to close the gap? What laws and regulations are needed to ensure women are paid the same as men? I'm honestly not trying to start a fight with anyone. I know that regulations aren't going to be the entire solution to anything but I genuinely have no idea what other things people are proposing. I'm trying to understand both sides of the debate and I want to know what the proposed solutions are.

I should have included this but I'm a derp and I'm generally pretty bad at communicating my meaning. I realize the debate is whether or not it even exists but here I'm going assuming it is real and asking for the proposed solutions.

I don't know. I mean, laws to make sure women are paid the same as men for the same work is probably a good start, but the whole thing seems so vague to me that it's hard to tell where it even starts and ends.
