I remember "Hawaii Five-0" when it was new and although I was only about 7 and didn't watch it at the time, I do remember the theme tune. It was performed by the Ventures and it was released as a single with chart success in the USA (it got to number 4 over there). Despite being released twice as a single twice in the UK (1969 and again in 1975) it never charted here.

@FurryFace We used to have a compilation LP of TV themes when I was about 10. "Hawaii Five-0" was among the tunes on it. My friend Dave (who has over 20,000 original vinyl singles) has the original 1969 single (on the Liberty label) in his collection.
