Do owners feel insulted if you refer to their pets as "it" and not as "he/she"?

especially if it's a dog or a cat, I'm not talking aout fish or an ant farm.

@Dan193 well, I usually refer to them as "it" and I don't think it's offensive. Even when it comes to babies 😷

@Trevo I do too, but sometimes I feel like they might take offense, since they call them he/she.
