Has anyone heard about any cases of people asking you for money on here? I mean like scammers, not people you know. Is that a thing?

Because there's this guy that randomly messaged me a couple of days ago asking me how am I, etc, what do I do for work, then he was asking me whether I still live with my parents(I suppose he wanted to know if I'm self-sufficient). I kept pulling away from these questions and steering the convo in a different direction. But then he began asking me about cars and I stopped the convo suspecting that a "do u have a car" question was coming.
Now, today he messaged me again asking whether I had a busy day at work.

Am I overthinking this and the guy is just looking to chat? or is he really interested in my financial status and whether I could "lend" him money?

i had a friend on here she came over from the kiwi website i use to be on. she said the same thing about how guys would just ask her personal questions like that so she got fed up with the messages.

no she left this site because of the people on here. she got a little fed up with it and bored of it. too many creeps.

@SW-User I mean I can understand her, because I got sent a dick pic once and it freaked the shizzles out of me. However when that happens daily I can imgine that it can get old and repulsive really fast.
