why are you so messed up?

I'm not sure.

I suppose mental health would be my biggest reason. It's a bit embarrassing to admit, but I now see that I'm not the only person that deals with an unwanted thought process.

I was depressed for a few years--I spent a lot of time crying and just beating myself up over things I had no control over. Not that my life is a mess, or that I have any VISIBLE reason as to why I would grow this way...

It just happened out of nowhere.


But anyway

After those few years, I just stopped caring. I became IMMENSELY jaded--to the point where I didn't even know how to form a logical opinion because my brain seemed to have shut down.

I couldn't think, or speak as I used to... and that fucked with my confidence and overall, my complete persona.

I'm doing a lot better now. **knock on wood** I'm finally starting to see things in the same light that I used to--before I got all depressed and whatnot.

Hmmm, this can take all day.

So instead I will just nod and ask, who is actually not messed up?

I was insecure about some things. That was the old me though.

I forgot to brush my hair when I woke up.
