Tax credits.

They have an incentive to high minority groups.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@DontMindMe you should be hired on merit not race
DontMindMe · 31-35, M
Should and is are two different things...

To be fair, most interviewers don't know that information about you because of sensitive information clauses inside the company.

It's more just in case you are hired; they know to file for tax examptions.

There are cases like caterpillar in Illinois that seemed to create jobs for minorities, fire those minorities to create the same job and hire more.... Creating huge tax exemptions that put millions back into their pockets.

But that isn't the norm... It's the exception.

Hippopotamus for sexuality and human for religion 😅

Leave them blank, it's no one's concern but your own.

It's illegal to ask those questions in the US.

All companies in the Western world are bound by certain equality laws.
Companies often ask for such details to ensure they can regularly update their statistics.
Of course. It looks good if they can say they hired the 'physically impaired transgendered successful asylum seeker' for the post advertised.

here for male stripper work they prefer that the male stripers are bisexual so they can please both the male and female customers.
@trackboy And even there it shouldn’t be relevant unless they’re expecting you to have sex with the customers.
trackboy · 22-25, M
the customers are rubbing you all over including on your boner. you have to be really comfortable with both boys and girls touching you like that so being bi is best for stripper work. most straights doing stripper work will freak out when guys are rubbing on their boners.

In Australia you are not allowed to ask these questions, but certain jobs are restricted to females or aboriginals only

Haven't heard of anything similar here in the u.s.

Because they like making fun of religion and sexuality at the lunch and doesnt want someone who will ruin that for them. I was with a company who did that once, it was awful. They were talking about how muslims rape people like animals and were really visual with their wording. Thats why im not an engineer today.
