@SW-User Yeah, us mobsters here in Chi Town were ready to go rip some heads and put Bruce Rauner on a pike if they didn't knock that shit off. I understand the need for taxes but seriously, one cent per ounce of any sugary drink? It means a six pack of soda is like three dollars more expensive.

@BlueMetalChick a co-worker of mine is from Near North Side and his family still lives there, he was griping about it at work today when we started talking about taxes lol

@SW-User I mean, it's not like it affected me personally too much, because if I want something without paying I can always shoplift. I'm a lifelong criminal and larceny is my specialty so sneaking a few six packs of soda pop out of Jewel is a piece of cake for me. Maybe I'll smuggle an actual piece of cake out from the bakery section too while I'm at it.

@SW-User Lol I don't do it very often anymore. I did it a lot as a kid but I've been steadily decreasing that kind of behavior. I'm an adult now, I can stop that kind of stuff.
