What is the cost to visit your local doctor

In Australia it is normally free under our medicare system, but some doctors who do not may charge around $60 and you may get a refund of $30-$40

@nedkelly Very!
It's annoying.

On average 200 without insurance. Average with insurance is around 50. Average insurance cost per individual is around 320-390 a month.

@Zer0Point How do you afford this insurance
Zer0Point · 36-40, F
@nedkelly I don't. I haven't seen a doctor in years. I don't make enough money to be able to afford it and I make too much money to apply for assistance.

Not where I live. The fee for a standard consult is $80 and it is very hard to find one who bulk bills
SW-User
I am in Australia too, our gp bulk bills under 15 and charges adults unless short consult.

Mine is about $40 for a regular visit at the moment, but that will probably change next year for the worst. Thanks Obamacare...
