How do you feel about being able to edit your content?

What if someone edits their content and then I don’t agree with it anymore but don’t see it?!! Or what if we’re fighting and they edit their content so that I look like the bad one?!! Not saying I don’t edit my content sometimes, just a thought.
I try to only edit gramical or spelling errors I missed. If I notice a person has edited their response in a manner you suggested. I would delete it if it were my post to begin with. If not that person would be blocked.

@JoanieNewHampshire Good call!
@xRockGlossPrincessx thank you! In reality nobody knows anyone. And we can change anything at anytime. It's all about my own credibility no whether I want to maintain it. Anyonethatthen knows mewould see the obvious "out of my character" responses
on ep i used to ask a really fcuked up Q..

wait for all the negative response..
then edit the Q to something innocent. making everyone look like an asshole ;D

It's easy to make people look foolish or perverted. Ask if they like ice cream and then change ice cream to a private part.

@xRockGlossPrincessx "I love to lick it, but I'm not fussy on nuts"
Who really reads old questions here to make that game worth it?

I get what you're saying, but when posting from my phone, I'm glad I can fix typos and I do it a lot.

@MistyCee You know what you’re right. Only a small percentage go back and look through old posts they have commented on. Perhaps if SW is your life and you have a lot of time on your hands.
I like it because I'm a miserable typist and sometimes don't see typos until later. I've seen some people note "edit for spelling" and now understand why they do that. I've clarified my posts, but nothing to try to make anyone look bad.
@bijouxbroussard same here! Being an honest person, I would never be devious, ever

In the world of writing or text editing commercial work, if once a story or comment is posted and something suddenly requires editing about that story and nobody has responded to the original post as of yet, then it is OK to edit the original draft without saying anything.

But if even one response has been made to a post and then it is discovered by the Author of the original post that an edit is required for some reason, it is standard protocol for the Author to post a note in capital letters, stating to all concerned that the original post or story has been altered by the Author.

If someone is responding to the original story and what they are responding to has been subsequently altered by the Author after the person has responded to the original story, it is a required protocol to inform the person that the post they have been responding to has been altered or edited... and to please re-read the post in question.
