Have you heard about the tragedy in Las Vegas

I just found out about Las Vegas.. Stomach turning. Unreal. That a person could be so selfish, so vile and cruel as to slaughter dozens and horrendously injure hundreds because of their own petty issues.

People are butchered everyday, but something so close to home and so senseless as this has a tangible impact.

We have to take these lessons to heart. Apply them to our own lives. We have to attempt to leave this world a little better than where we found it, in whatever small way we can, we can each make a contribution.

Return humility for arrogance.
Return acceptance for judgment.
Return compassion for cruelty.
Return courage for fear.
Return love for hatred.

Where there is life, there is hope. It's never too late. ✌🙏

It's a fucking horror. I can't imagine being present for that. 58 people killed and 400+ injured. We need to start reaching out to each other, identify mental health issues, and help people.

Right now it's just too easy for anyone who is miserable and alienated and wants revenge on the world to grab a semi-auto and wreck havoc.

@CaptainCanadia You have nailed it - identify mental health issues
CaptainCanadia · 41-45, M
@nedkelly Yeah. People are gonna make this about gun control... and frankly there's a lot to that. But it's a secondary problem. The biggest one is that people wanna flip out and start shooting people in the first place.

Lol! How the fuck do you think gun control's a secondary problem in relation to this?! It's so much cheaper & more feasible to implement more gun regulation. The stats have shown that gun control's a massive aid in preventing terrorist & non-terrorist violence. Next thing you'll be telling me that the 100s of billions of dollars worth of ammunition to the Middle East that the U.S. sold's bad for terrorists.

The UK has done many terrible things as well.
