Have you heard about the tragedy in Las Vegas

I just found out about Las Vegas.. Stomach turning. Unreal. That a person could be so selfish, so vile and cruel as to slaughter dozens and horrendously injure hundreds because of their own petty issues.

People are butchered everyday, but something so close to home and so senseless as this has a tangible impact.

We have to take these lessons to heart. Apply them to our own lives. We have to attempt to leave this world a little better than where we found it, in whatever small way we can, we can each make a contribution.

Return humility for arrogance.
Return acceptance for judgment.
Return compassion for cruelty.
Return courage for fear.
Return love for hatred.

Where there is life, there is hope. It's never too late. ✌🙏

I've been hearing about it and seeing news posts throughout the day, of course, with the accompanying political commentary.
The last time I thought, and probably said, there's not much can be done, because we're not even on the same page about the problem.

Half of us believe there are too many guns in the wrong hands.

The other half believes there are not enough guns in the right hands.

The numerical reality is that there are more guns in more hands than ever before. And so it goes.

I'm just so tired of people dying. Can I say that, at least ? 😞
