Have you heard about the tragedy in Las Vegas

I just found out about Las Vegas.. Stomach turning. Unreal. That a person could be so selfish, so vile and cruel as to slaughter dozens and horrendously injure hundreds because of their own petty issues.

People are butchered everyday, but something so close to home and so senseless as this has a tangible impact.

We have to take these lessons to heart. Apply them to our own lives. We have to attempt to leave this world a little better than where we found it, in whatever small way we can, we can each make a contribution.

Return humility for arrogance.
Return acceptance for judgment.
Return compassion for cruelty.
Return courage for fear.
Return love for hatred.

Where there is life, there is hope. It's never too late. ✌🙏

I'm still wondering why he did it. Was he just ill, or was he ill with a motive, so to speak.

He did it because of the terrible things that world superpowers have done, very much including the U.S.. I hope that, as a country, the U.S.'s starting to get the karma it deserves. Hypocritical culture.

@Xuan12 No one knows. Probably both, but nothing can excuse the murder of 50+ people.

@FCNantes Football Club Nantes, yes? You are French? I'm sorry about what happened in Marseille. I don't mean this hostilely, but I want to point out that French colonialism has, and continues to have a profound effect on many of todays regions. Many border and cultural tensions in places like Africa and the Middle East have been enflamed by the vestiges of colonialism, predominantly French and English. The US is the preeminent power today, yes. But the roots of many of these issues were layed by those powers before. But this kind of blaming isn't going to fix any of it.

@Virescent No excuse, yes. But still one cannot help but wonder at why.

@Xuan12 France's a superpower...
