I've been there before. I, personally, think with my personality, its the best type of relationship. I really enjoyed it. I think there were time I wanted more, and times he wanted more. But overall, it's a good experience. I thinks it's okay for younger people, who don't want multiple sexual partners, but aren't ready to fully commit to one particular person.
@originalGOS well said, I agree.

@originalGOS at my age i think that would be an idea relationship for me but not only for sex but for a great friendship and someone who cares for me and looks out for me and vice versa without actually being married or living together...thats what i want lol
@LindaM you sound like you just want a boyfriend.

The thing mistaken with a friends with benefit is that many people forget the "no strings attached" rule. Involving personal life and expectations is what relationships are for and just creates pain and misunderstandings in the long run if you put those kind of expectations in a fwb relationship. getting too involved in each other's lives is how feelings evolve and it's becomes more for one person, usually one sided.

@Stark yes i agree with that and you are right i want a boyfriend lover but i dont want to get married or live with him , not at this time anyways lol ..i just think everyone needs space and im not a needy person , well within reason ..im just a little needy for sleep overs ahahah ...does that make sense
@LindaM that's perfectly fine, what you want isn't uncommon there are many people willing to do that especially if they've already been married once before. I would just make it clear with what you want because if you go off telling someone you want a friends with benefit relationship it can create a lot of misunderstanding and pain in your case most likely. 🙂

@Stark thats not what i want and i dont want a married person either i want someone free to be with me
@LindaM goodness you've seem to misunderstood me some how ? I was referring to what you said you wanted, "a boyfriend lover but I don't want to get married or live with him. " (quoting what you've said)I was pointing out that what you want isn't uncommon and it's easy to find and given your age if you're looking for someone around your age range they might have already been married before, gone through a divorce and now single and want something simple like what you want. Because they've already been married and don't want to get married again.
