Yea when I hear it a lot online, I think oh it's the Internet they probably say that to all the other women. But sometimes in person it catches me off guard. I probably act way more surprised than I should but I guess saying "oh wow thank you so much, that just made my day" is better than saying "Ha, I already know how pretty I am"

irl yes because people online are full of shit, but I'm even more surprised when people compliment me on something other than my looks

Yes. Very surprised. In the rare event it does occur, I usually end up reminded about a feature that's I have overlooked most of my life.
