Depends probably on what you want. Higher cost of living, groceries etc. and it's so cold up there in the winter you need a lot of money for heating.

@cherokeepatti what about earning money.. where can i earn more money?

@amrit19901990 I've heard of people transferring from their company to Canada, but they didn't like the living conditions and cold weather and they moved back.

@cherokeepatti you seem obsessed with temperature, I could point out that the west coast of Canada has much warmer winters than the central or eastern US

@lorne13 I am not obsessed with temperatures but people who live in a hot or warm climate will have to adapt and some don't. The person I was speaking about in particular came from a warm climate, was offered a job transfer and didn't like it in Canada and moved back home.

@cherokeepatti it's just that it's such a cliché about Canadians being frozen for 7 months a years and living in igloos etc, etc that it gets irritating after a while, maybe like Americans being obsessed with guns, you know?

@lorne13 If you live in a climate where it's warm enough to be outdoors and take evening strolls and walk to the grocery (and other) stores then not only the adapting but the extra cost for heating and cab fares (or the cost of a vehicle) has to be factored into the cost of living. Some places like Morocco mostly don't pay for air-conditioning or heating any time of the year...
