win-xp no longer provides security updates … so if you connect to the 'net you are at risk.

i understand of course, [c=#800000]furryface[/c]. however … you have friends and contacts that may have personal info they consider vital to remain confidential.

now … let's say your computer becomes compromised … you never realize it's happened. you continue email and chat and socializing … clueless to what is brewing inside your data.

the malware has finished confiscating your contacts' personal info … not only that, the malware has also propagated onto their computer from your computer. and on and on the domino-effect continues.

you made conscious decision to live with the threat (nothing top secret) … your contacts had no voice in your decision … they are innocent … you have just signed their death warrant.

[c=#800000]furryface[/c] … my intent is to open everyone's eyes … not only yours. peace be with all.

@muffinman i'm really not that Paranoid , i'd bet your one of those people that throw out Shredded bags of paper , afraid Dumpster Divers are looking for your personal information , i'll admit it has been done but it is very very rare
