Based on the camera work, I would say it is. Someone who didn't know what was going to happen, would instinctively film the thief, and definitely not zoom in on the people watching.

@Bastard There's very few gay hate crimes where I'm from. Are you perhaps Russian? A Russian friend of mine says that gay rights are abysmal over there and that people often harass and even attack gays.

@Bastard I've lived in Russia before, but only for an exchange student program. It was quite nice, to be honest, I would live there again.
