What did you dream about last night?

I slept long and deeply. Had dreams of a journey to New York City. I was traveling to meet with publishers. I took a train, ate at a rooftop cafe and slept there in my seat. I could see the city in the distance, down a steep embankment. Finally arrived, but I was in the future, where artificial consciousness had replaced mankind. I was this relic walking around. All the shops were closed, preserved, like museum exhibits.

Ever dream of flying or floating above the ground, moving effortlessly

Just like your naked or barely dressed, everyone ignores
No one ever notices...

@Some1Else Yes many times. Often more floating than flying. I had this dream where I was lying on a stone bunk in this large dormitory type hall, many other stone beds around. I am looking up at the vaulted ceiling, at the stained glass windows. My vision sort of warps, then settles, then warps again and I am flying through this tunnel vortex of swirling light. I come out on this red earth planet, barren, hovering above this caldera. I felt I was in the hand of this powerful force. Above me in the night sky, enormous eyes of light blinking slowly

Ahhh!
Where does our brain get all these references? The visuals that we've Surely Never seen the likes of?

Other places, world's, people, experiences, thoughts?

They last only real moments but seem so real as days spent n familiar surroundings that are So Real that that they Must Truly Exist!!!

Sometimes you want to Stay there!

@Some1Else Absolutely it was an amazing dream. Sometimes I don't ever want to wake. Dreams are so mysterious. They say there is a lot of symbolism. I've had a lifetime experiencing science fiction and am a writer.

@DanielChristensen Same... Except no discipline to write.

@Some1Else I wrote a quasi fiction story recently and posted it after my electronic copyright came through. It was a wonderful experience, to be so focused and full of inspiration, for such a long period. Now that it is done, I feel sort of blah, like, what's next
