What did you dream about last night?

I slept long and deeply. Had dreams of a journey to New York City. I was traveling to meet with publishers. I took a train, ate at a rooftop cafe and slept there in my seat. I could see the city in the distance, down a steep embankment. Finally arrived, but I was in the future, where artificial consciousness had replaced mankind. I was this relic walking around. All the shops were closed, preserved, like museum exhibits.

@DanielChristensen the most recent one that meant anything was me trying to walk through a field full of stickery weeds, begging for my shoes, but no one would give them to me.

@dumpstermeow We have sandspurs here. Little fucking torture machines of nature. What purpose do they serve other than pain? Haha

Ever realize you were in a dream midway through? This seems very rare. I was in the actress Ming-Na Wen's dressing room, trying to get her to sleep with me. She agrees, I am going at her and feeling nothing. I stop and have this sort of forehead slap moment, Oh, this is a dream. However the realization was short lived as the events swept on.

@DanielChristensen oh yes. If I focus on lucid dreaming before I go to sleep, I usually can with no problem. I lose control off and on throughout the dreams though.

@dumpstermeow My cousin told me he would record audio tapes of him speaking, to create lucid dreams where he could explore the homes of potential victims for burglaries. Sounded like horseshit to me, but who knows
