Evolution, as far as I know of older men still go after younger women because males can still mate and breed during old age rather than females who can't after a certain age. To spread their genes and keep the species going they go for younger women. That's a scientific stand point. Psychologically young women are hot

Because as others have said women their own age aren't fertile or as fertile. The real question is why they think a woman half their age would be interested. I think they don't care because they arw viewing you as a sex object.
