Absolutely not. A friend of mine left a candle burning in her kitchen ( she has kids) and within minutes her kitchen went up in flames because the candle caught fire to some kitchen roll. She is still living at her parents house 6 weeks later because it's been classsed as too unsafe to live in because of carbon monoxide poisoning from the fumes.

Woow how unfortunate :(

No I just use my Mickey Mouse nightlight just as I did as a kid.

Don't judge please

aww 😍
The white tea light candles that I light frequently in honor and celebration of the Goddess, Brigid, the Great mother, I let burn and and it often burns hours after I am asleep. It is in a thick glass holder- no chance on any fire starting.

When I do smudging I use the flame from that candle. Which reminds me, I need to smudge a few things- myself included.
SW-User
Yes actually mine is in a thick glass holder too. It's like deep inside. I've fallen asleep while it was burning. Smudge what tho?
@SW-User Anything that emanates negative energy. Jewelry , clothing, rooms in the house (go counter clockwise) , my car, Me, Items that were used or touched a lot by another. Gemstones and crystals.

Out side the house, Take salt, (no water , no matter what is suggested) and lay it, counterclockwise around the entire circumference of the place.

My candle is in a different room form what I sleep in.
SW-User
No, I may consider death much less negatively than most people, but I'm not suicidal.
