Depends on the situation. If it's something I can improve, I usually get stuck in. If it's not, I either try to ignore it, or have a bit of a moan about it, or write about how I am feeling so I can read it back later and maybe learn something about myself.

Yes, can be helpful sometimes, but not always. Depends on the situation I guess, including whom you're dealing with.

I find music is a good vent... Although too often I take to eating carb-rich foods instead.
@RPDiem yup! That comfort food will get ya all the time!

By stopping them or by not getting stressed. Usually does the trick.

I don't handle stress well at all. But nature, exercise and my pets help. Sometimes I try to vent but that seems to make it worse. Ugh.
Well, mostly I remain quiet and let them pass. But at times, I do laugh at myself for falling in the whirlpool yet again.

I handle stressful situations like a dog: if u can't eat it or play with it, piss on it and walk away.
