Yes!

It is filled with people who can make your life or break it and influence your career for decades

and then there's the weird strange truthful angry sick nice perverted lying religious liberal conservative friendly scary people that will want to use you or ignore you completely

and then there's all the knowledge, some of which is wrong or biased or completely useless, that you will have to learn just graduate in a field which may not be visible or you may hate in 4 years but have to work in anyway due to the tremendous debt you incurred to get a degree because of familial and peer pressure!

Or you could just go to a free trade school program for 6 to 18 months and make more your first year as a welder, plumber, machinist, plant operator, electronics tech, or other field than you will your first 2 or 3 years with the degree.

Be Very SCARED!

@Some1Else ...and 5 years out, the college grad will start making more and for the rest of their life will be more highly paid. Plus the college grad will work in a more comfortable environment and are at a significant lower risk for injuries and health problems.

@MarkFree In theory... But they have to graduate!
So many drop out due to money or brain deficiency

They Could have been 3 years + in the work force with a Career already established and no long term student loans to pay in a needed and well paid profession!
