@cherokeepatti jeez I can't imagine. I'm from a mostly arid part of the country that's been in drought basically my entire life, so I jokingly call it a desert. You're from an actual desert more or less. I would die.

@boklenholley7 It’s not a desert here where I live. A lot of trees, pastures, grassland, rivers etc. But the heat combined with the humidity (when we aren’t in a drought) is horrible for me. I have been in a desert with 100 F. And sitting in the shade and it felt like mid-70’s here, very comfortable for us when we took a one-hour break for lunch during a road trip to Yosemite. The winters feel colder than other places due to the winds coming down from the Colorado mountains, even Oklahomans who move to Colorado say it doesn’t feel nearly as cold up there in the winter like it does in Oklahoma.

@cherokeepatti humid cold and dry cold are two very feelings. Same with heat. It gets crazy humid where I'm at now, and I'm 100% convinced I'm not made for this crap haha
