Which popular, though grammatically or logically incorrect, variants do you often hear in everyday conversations?

Like "he had another thing coming" and "I could care less", for example.

In UK English, it's 'I couldn't care less'. I don't know how it became corrupted, if that's the right word, in American English.

The other phrase you mentioned also comes perhaps from something misheard: he thought this but he had another think coming.

@FreddieUK i admit, i will occasionally say, "I could care less" on accident, but honestly, if I'm remarking about something, i probably could, so I tend to let it go.
@FreddieUK It’s "I couldn’t care less" in US English, too. People just get it wrong.
@FoxyQueen The term basically means "I don’t care", so technically "I could care less" means you do care ("at least a little", to quote Weird Al) 😄
