Weekly check in!

I'll contribute as I like the question. Just another week on nights, roughing my way through making merry with coworkers I don't love because I don't believe in a toxic workplace, so even if you question the place and your place within, you better find a way to get along with them because you are going to be with them for hours you can't be with others you love.

Worked and often woke up feeling like a piece of shit. I could only trust my cats to tend to me and give their love (and meows)

This morning was my favourite part after the night shift. Not the aggressive morning drivers, who couldn't wake up when they needed, but seeing the fog over ponds and meadows forming, reflecting the hues from the morning sun. I wondered who else was looking?

My frustrating part? Being on nights, feeling lonely, even if I know loneliness is a personal place, watching those throw their time in a mad rush clearly not seeing what is before them. That they just throw it away for an adrenaline rush? It can be confusing when you become older, what are your favourite parts and your must frustrating parts in a world that won't slow down.
