📱 The "Similar Worlds App" is now Available! (Android) 🎉
We are pleased to announce that Similar Worlds now finally has its very own 📱 Mobile App! 🎊
The Similar Worlds App can be found on the Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.similarworlds https://similarworlds.com/app
• The Similar Worlds App should provide users with all of the features of the regular browser/website version, but with an improved and streamlined experience on mobile devices.
• Currently, our App is only available for Android Devices, via the Google Play Store.
• We do intend to make an App available for iPhone/Apple Devices as well, but we currently do not have a timeline for the completion of this. (It's a lot more complicated and difficult to have the App made and approved for the Apple Store.)
• To help our Similar Worlds grow, please do consider leaving Positive Reviews for the SW App, so that it can be seen by more new people, who may decide to give SW a try. 🌟
• Also, as always, please be courteous to others! Both existing users and newcomers alike.
Are you planning to add features to the app? I would like the ability to open multiple pages and to refresh a page. If that's possible, then I would like to know how, please.
@Classified Ah ok. Again it might depend on the device, but you should be able to:
1) hold the finger on a link 2) select "Open in a new Chrome tab"
I understand this will not open a new tab inside the app, but at least lets you open in a Chrome tab. (most other apps don't even allow this at all, and we're always limited to 1 tab/view only)
@Classified It seems that the app uses Firefox, because it's your default browser. Seems Firefox is what is giving you those limitations, so if you need those features, you'd have to make Chrome your default browser. I understand your position :) At least you have a working solution!
@Nuno You guys are good. Firefox shouldn't be the default though. It's the DuckDuckGo mobile browser. Though I have Firefox too, maybe the app can't use DDG. 🤔
