We are happy to announce that our Version 2 of SW Smart Feeds has now been released and is available to all users! 🙂
We believe that these recent improvements made, should allow users better control of their Default Home Feed. In addition, each user should be able to accomplish their preferences more easily.
The variety of customizable options should benefit our user-base as a whole, where each user can have some greater control over what is shown in their feeds, rather than all users being subjected to one or two feed formats only (as it used to be - which may benefit some, but also inconvenience many).

We also intend to have a Secondary / Alternate Customizable Smart Feed, located next to the default Home Feed.
This will allow users to specify up to TWO highly customized Feed Layouts/Profiles, per their liking, where they can easily switch between these two, Custom-defined Feeds, in just One Click!
We hope that these improvements to SW will provide a better experience to everyone. 👍

After testing, and tweaking, and tweaking some more, I am still unable to get my feed to be anything close to what I want it to be. I've tried a ton of different suggestions presented by both staff and other users. I still have the following problems: * Posts don't show up in feed at all (I just want all posts, simple as that). * Either I barely get any comments/replies showing up in my feed, or... * ...I start getting plenty of comments/replies from people I am not friends with (I want replies made by friends, and no one else). * And chronological order still has issues with sudden incorrect orders.
At this point I am considering just unsubscribing from every single group and unchecking every single interest in the interest panel in hopes it will help.
I'm also considering just turning off the option to have my comments shown in other people's feeds. What's the point of turning of latest replies (in the whiteboard) so that non-friends can't stalk them if a good chunk of my comments just may pop up in random people's feeds anyway? It'll be a bummer that my friends can't see them in their feed should they wish to, but at least that should prevent it from popping up in the feeds of other people.

@helenS Will do. Still holding off a little while, just in case I do get an official reply that'll save me the work and give me a much clearer idea of the results than trial and error... but I guess if I get no official response I'll give it a go and report back.
@helenS Actually, that one - while it does show posts I can't find other places - doesn't show everything either. There's a post in my feed from 12 minutes ago at the time of writing this that doesn't show up at all in that link.
The formatting/UI on that page is horrible too. Bad readability, in addition to not showing who has posted something, when it was posted, no preview of post like the actual feeds have, and it shows links to posts you can't actually see (i.e. if you are blocked). That said, I know it isn't meant to be used by regular users really (and more as a debug tool I presume), so it's understandable that it isn't prettified.

Since there has been no official word I figured I'd go ahead and try it.
Attempt 1: Removing all interest in order to hopefully create a neutral, full feed.
Please choose at least 10 categories.

So yeah, I haven't got the slightest clue how to resolve this anymore. Think I might have to chalk the feed down as a permanently broken feature at this point as there doesn't seem to be much chance of it being redeemed anymore.
Now I gotta go patch up my groups so I'm not just stuck with the last 10 in my list.
