@SW-Admin OK, if the groups get consolidated and stuff I'm generally happy there. Still sucks that there won't be a less active section where my friend can post, but I guess that probably wasn't intended in the first place.

@SW-Admin Hey wait, I just realized that for that stat to exist, the groups must all be categorized the way posts are. So does that mean I can't even see fetish groups since I block fetish content? Because if so, I like it. Did you guys... have to do that all manually?

@BlueVeins Thanks for understanding. It's all automatic, based on words (and some manual overrides as "we find them"). For example, a Group name containing the words "I like to use diapers" would be marked as Fetish. Yes - every group has a Rating level. The highest rating between the Post and the Group is what is in place.

Now that the former "stories" and "questions" have been merged here on SW, why not create a new category specifically for longer stories?

Suggestion: call it Writing.
It could appear next to Home, Posts, and Explore.
Someone who clicked there would see a brief explanation that this is for longer pieces of writing that will take some time to read. And that comments are invited at any time, even months or years after posting.

I don't know if a minimum word count would be helpful or not, but the other incentives that Sarabee suggested, would be. Also: why not test this feature with a limited number of members? Make it available to Sarabee, me, and other people who have posted long stories, like @Yulianna who has been writing an actual novel on here. Sarabee can probably recommend some names.

Allow those members to post some of their long stories in the new section before you open it to the SW public, and that will set the tone.

Undoubtedly at first this Writings section will cater to a small minority within SW --but it will be the most creative minority! However, gradually it will draw new members who will enrich the site and let it live up to more of its promise.

@Nuno What incentives can we offer you to do this? Would you like a work of fiction with you as the main character? 🙃

@CoralieJuliet That is exactly why titles for stories are so useful.

I think it would be very difficult to automatically distinguish between statements and questions accurately, but the old system didn't have that functionally either. Many "questions" contained statements and many stories involved a question, so the old system didn't make it any easier to see all questions or only questions. The update only gave stories more options, but hardly affects what you can choose to view. If anything, it made the Friends & Groups filter of the homepage more meaningful.

@RaemaSnr You can turn off the inclusion of answers by clicking the "Customize feed" button.
