Hello everyone,

Starting today, you can now Report groups for inappropriate content. 🛡️ 🚩

On mobiles, you can find this button in the bottom of the Group page.

On bigger screens, you can find this on the right sidebar.

Please note that this button is for reporting problems with the Group, not the Posts in the groups.
If there is a problem with a post, please use the Report Abuse button in the post itself.

Very kind regards.

I submitted 7 reports this morning and without fail all the replies have so far fallen far short of being helpful, since they give no indication of whether the report was considered valid or not, whether any action will be taken, or whether more people reporting the same group would be necessary.
[image deleted]All the groups concerned ARE still there as I type this but I'm not too disheartened by this at this point. While the replies might less that helpful the report-group feature does appear to work as expected and there's a reasonable chance that the site mods/admin might be attempting to evaluate it's value as a tool (false reports Vs valid reports etc) before they decide on what to do with the reported groups and what (if any) usable feedback they intend to give the reporter in future.

Given that the reply mentions a "user" and it's a group I'm reporting I'm perfectly willing to concede that it's more than likely still being developed and tested but if that were the case it would be nice to know for sure.

Perhaps @Andrew or Nuno are able to comment on why it so far at least appears to be a pointless exercise?
