Hello everyone,

👻👀🐪🐅 We have just finished one more major release of Similar Worlds.

• Nested Replies / Direct Comments 💬
This was one of the most requested features, so we have now taken priority to complete this.
You can now reply directly to a comment on a Story or Question, and your reply will be nested to that comment. Just click the "Reply" link below the comment you want to reply to.
Only the users on that nested thread will receive notifications. As usual, you can stop notifications at any time.

• SW-Questions, the new Questionator ❓
Our new Robot has been around for a while now.
SW-Questions posts several questions a day and it's actually getting some very cool answers!

This robot may sometimes reply to members. Were you one of those lucky people, yet?

You can find SW-Questions here - https://similarworlds.com/SW-Questions

• Mute Users 😶
Blocking users will prevent them from messaging and adding/following you, and that may not be always the best choice.
So, we have implemented a new function to Mute users.
Muting users will prevent their posts from appearing to you, unless you visit their profiles.
Muting does not disable comments or private messages.

You can mute up to 500 members, just like blocking.
VIP users can mute up to 5000 members and block up to 5000 members.

We have also made a panel for [c=#BF0000]Taking a Break[/c], explaining the various methods you can use against a user.

• Easier to Write a Story or Ask a Question ✏

We have made it easier to make a post.
We added two new buttons in the homepage, so it should be straight forward to begin typing a story or a question, without having to think about what group or category the post should be in.

• Lots of other Improvements! 🔧
As usual, we keep working every day to improve our site.
- 3 new Categories for Questions:
• Life
• Technology
• Similar Worlds
- Set an image as Profile Picture from the Manage Photos page.
- Upgraded all the icons on the Similar Worlds website.
- Show the unread Notification counter in the page title.
(making it easier to know you have notifications, if you are not focused on the SW browser tab)
- Notification sounds now work on Mobile and on browsers without Flash.
- Lots of other technical improvements and fixes as we find or our members report to us.

Thank you for your support and we hope you stay with us.

We are constantly listening to your suggestions, so please keep giving them to us, as they are very important to the future of Similar Worlds.

Very kind regards,
Nuno

It's a very well organised site. But I wish to leave. How do I delete my account?

Hi you can email the team at support@similarworlds.com and request that your account be deleted.

Thank you so much for your reply. It shows that you care. But I don't want to leave. It's just that there are so many male users who send inappropriate posts and messages. It wasn't like that at the beginning. It was so nice to have interesting people chatting together. And I know we can block all male users if we want and I like we can do that but there are also some really nice men who reply to my stories. And I don't want to lose their messages. But also I don't want to be constantly blocking people. Do you understand what I am trying to say. And thank you for your help and support. @Jessa29:

@blodyn: Hello,
Thanks for choosing to stay on Similar Worlds.

If you would like to prevent messages from male members from reaching your inbox (and not be notified of them), I suggest doing the following:

1) Visit your Inbox: https://similarworlds.com/messages

2) Click on the "Filter Messages" button, which should appear on the right of the screen, or below your messages (depending on your device).

3) Select the option "All Male Users" then press "Save".

You should no longer get alerts of new messages from male members.

The messages they send still can be found in your "Message Requests" page however: https://similarworlds.com/messages?requests=1

Kind regards!
