do you think it's ok to carefully select who you interact with or associate with

i'm white english and my mates long ago were all like me from my background, i never associated with anyone different to me from different backgrounds, i only interact with those who are like me from the same origins.

Hell yeah I do. Not everyone is happy for you. I observe people very closely. At least now I do
