@4meAndyou Yes she knows. Even if she had money before it happened (I don’t know about that but those fundraisers seem ritzy) Toby Keith paid it forward before he ever got cancer. He had created a foundation for a place for children & their families to stay near the cancer center. If they live quite a distance from the cancer center they get to stay. Everything is paid for them, rooms, bottled water, food, snacks, little gifts, toys for the children to play with, there is a movie room, transportation back and forth to the Children’s hospital and the cancer center and so much more. The parents can bring their other children too. That foundation is bringing in a lot of money and even more after he died from cancer a couple years ago.

@cherokeepatti WOW! There was nothing like that here when C had her cancer surgery and radiation treatments.

@Musicman I never saw anything like that in 2023 or 2024 either. A lot of groups are doing things now.
