@Unlearn 🤔now that is rather a leading question and one rather to cause debate

The organized religions? 🤣

They always have a leader. 🫤

What is the least "self" respecting, than living your life after someone else's expectations?

AI assessment after getting around the argumentative nature of your question.

Please note: I had to clarify your question, even before the AI would respond. It thought you were being disrespectful just by the question.

Religion vs. Organized Religion

Religion

Religion can be understood as a broader, more personal belief system that may not necessarily involve formal institutions or dogmas. Many people engage in spirituality or personal rituals that foster a sense of self-respect and connection to something greater.
Organized Religion

Organized religion typically refers to established institutions with specific doctrines and leadership structures. Followers often adhere to defined teachings, which can sometimes lead to expectations that may conflict with individual self-identity.
Analysis of the Statements
"The organized religions? 🤣 They always have a leader."

This statement seems to express skepticism toward organized religions, possibly suggesting that having a leader implies a lack of personal autonomy. The humor indicates a critical perspective on the hierarchical structure that can influence how followers perceive themselves and their paths.
"What is the least 'self' respecting than living your life after someone else's expectations?"

This points to a concern that adhering strictly to the tenets of organized religion might lead individuals to prioritize external expectations over their authentic selves. This could indeed impact one's self-respect, as individuals may struggle with reconciling personal beliefs with those imposed by an authority figure.

@gregloa That's like saying bald is the worst hair color...

@ViciDraco
No atheism is like saying bald is the best hair color.
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@gregloa bald is the absence of hair, so there is no color component. Just as atheism is not a religion, it is the absence of it.

@hippyjoe1955 But that's not a religion.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@BritishPerson Yeah it is. It is a utopian religion no different than any other cult. Genesis account, fall of mankind account, prophets showing the way forward account, paradise account. The only big difference from most other religions is a lack of God but God is not required for religion. Look at Buddhism.
