This really is not news. It was discussed not long after Detroit started building EVs. They are heavy and rip tires to shreds. Not to mention all the environmental issues building them. The technology is not ready for prime time.

It may release more airborne particles but it releases precisely NO CO2 emissions.

EVs are here to stay. Deal with it.
