My dear Americans, I visited your lovely country last year and my dear wife and I partook in a local fruit that we had never tried before

It is not for sale in the UK and we long to try it again and were hoping to export some of these delicious items over here but we are unsure if we would get the market. Struggling to remember the name but it was a very sweet, pulpy fruit with a thick skin, the skin was disagreeable to taste and was often discarded by the locals.

We are not very sure of the name and this is why I am asking the question, I believe the local savages called it a 'bandanna' or a banana or something like that...We would be grateful for your assistance in this matter.

I would caution you not to undulge in it, Professor. But will it cause you to grow hair all over your bodies and swing from the trees by your tails? That's fine for my sister and me and our kids here in the Etats Unis but will it be acceptable in Skegness?
