Humans have been shrinking for 6000 years. Did you know that, when life on Earth began 6000 years ago humans were huge?

Most humans stood around about 150 feet high. The reason for this was because the air was much thicker and humans lived for around 600 years at that time. It is just as well the first humans were so big otherwise we would not have defeated the dinosaurs and had they won...Well, dinosaurs would now be in charge of the Earth.

Food for thought.

Indeed I understand. The air was thicker and so the raindrops were slower. There was no snow because it couldn't fall, and ice clouds were forming up high and there used to be an icy crust around the parts of the earth that had winter at that time. Through the crust one could also detect some beautiful patterns, result of the local electromagnetic forces.

But hey, with the new lower density air we're gaining the rainbow 馃寛 as it wasn't visible before. ..
@elafina I appreciate your perspective, but I must clarify that the idea of humans being giants 6000 years ago and the associated explanations about atmospheric conditions and the absence of snow and ice clouds are not supported by scientific evidence.

The composition and density of Earth's atmosphere have indeed changed over geological time scales, but these changes occur gradually over millions of years and are driven by factors such as geological processes, climate change, and biological evolution. While atmospheric conditions in the distant past may have been different from those of today, there is no evidence to suggest that humans were ever as large as described or that atmospheric changes directly influenced human size in such a dramatic manner.

Similarly, the presence of rainbows in the sky is a natural optical phenomenon caused by the refraction, dispersion, and reflection of sunlight in water droplets in the atmosphere. Rainbows have been observed throughout history and are not a recent phenomenon resulting from changes in atmospheric conditions.

It's important to distinguish between scientific facts supported by evidence and speculative or imaginative interpretations of natural phenomena. While imaginative ideas can spark curiosity and creativity, they should be approached critically and evaluated based on scientific principles and empirical evidence.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays What does it really mean, imaginative ideas can spark curiosity and creativity ?
What is curiosity and creativity ?
Aren't they the fundamentals upon which we later on subtract the evidences from ?
@elafina "Imaginative ideas can spark curiosity and creativity" means that when we encounter imaginative or novel concepts, they can stimulate our interest and inspire us to explore further or think in new ways. Curiosity is the desire to learn or know more about something, while creativity involves generating new ideas or solutions that are original and valuable.

Curiosity is a fundamental aspect of human nature that drives exploration, inquiry, and learning. When we encounter imaginative ideas, they can pique our curiosity by presenting new possibilities or challenging our existing understanding of the world. This curiosity motivates us to seek out more information, explore different perspectives, and engage in further investigation.

Creativity, on the other hand, involves the ability to generate novel and valuable ideas, solutions, or expressions. It often arises from a combination of curiosity, knowledge, and imagination. When we're curious about a topic or inspired by imaginative ideas, it can fuel our creative thinking by encouraging us to explore unconventional possibilities, make connections between disparate concepts, and think outside the box.

Both curiosity and creativity play essential roles in the process of problem-solving, innovation, and intellectual growth. They enable us to approach challenges with an open mind, experiment with new ideas, and adapt to changing circumstances. While evidence and rationality are important for evaluating ideas and forming conclusions, curiosity and creativity provide the initial spark that drives exploration and discovery.

In essence, curiosity and creativity are indeed foundational aspects of human cognition and exploration. They inspire us to seek out new knowledge, consider alternative perspectives, and generate innovative solutions, laying the groundwork for further investigation and discovery.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays despite that I really like reading this and it's thought provoking, there's something that feels like AI !!! Excuse me for saying that! It's just, how neatly all the information are arranged.
It feels good but strange! I think I've changed, I'm reading things differently...
It's also too late for me now, I need to get some sleep.
I'll read once more tomorrow:)
@elafina I understand your feelings, and it's perfectly normal to find interactions with me thought-provoking and sometimes even surprising. Have a good night's sleep!
