My groups status....

Well at least one of my four groups is off to good status. Two have no activity whatsoever! 😞

I will likely be making some type of post in here on them from time to time. Probably not very often though, unless I see something of similar interests in this group.

So far no real problems.

Still haven't figured out how they expect anyone to moderate, if anyone has blocked the moderator! 😂

That’s something I wondered about, too. One group says it has ten members, but I can only see about five of them.

@bijouxbroussard heard some talk that they might be starting private groups back. This gave me an idea.

If this is true, and I really am uncertain if it is true, would you be interested in a private moderator support group?

A member can opt out of showing membership by going private - just like on your personal page you can hide something like gifts received or photos only you can see.

@RenFur that only makes it more difficult to moderate a group by the group moderator with two less types of control. It would make the moderator unable to remove membership.

A moderator might not want to block, just remove that user from their own group.

That's all well and good - and it obviously makes sense - but I'm merely stating a fact. I have my own group, too, with a similar situation.

@RenFur But in the latter case, no one could see my gifts, not even my friends. I’m curious to know if people I’ve [b]blocked[/b], or who have blocked me, can see (and post in) groups I’ve created. If they can it defeats the purpose of blocking.

Yes they can. I have seen it happen. 😞

Thing is most don't know this. So it's quite possible to be unintentional.
