good job Andy. in the past i got confused by your posts because i did not get the point. i think that i do now. in my opinion, your posts are pointing out that theology of the past served a purpose, but that purpose has long long ago been lost, and that living in denial produces no benefit and has no virtue. true. and i believe that i have stated before on your posts, and i will repeat it here, that living in materialism produces a different kind of life, that you can't avoid if you live in the 21st century, but if religionists could get out of their stubborn closed refusal to communicate, they would benefit from seeing their own religion as a way to balance the "coldness" or disappointment of materialism. for themselves, not for people who are enjoying the benefits of it.
