Is it just me or do others think this way.

I can’t stand ignorant people you are talking with them on WhatsApp or some other sites you see that they have seen your messages but they can’t be bothered to answer. Or you send them a message they read it but never reply. My family does this all the time but as soon as they want something the messages keep on coming.

Not for me. I don't notice who reads what or not. I don't rush with replies so maybe that's why. I also only answer on what I want to answer on. If someone writes 4 messages and there's 4 different topics I may just respond on one. The latest or in my opinion most accurate.

But if you think your family is using you stop doing them favors.

I think if you are in a chat situation, in real time, you respond right back, or say you have to go. If it’s just a PM, which to me is like an email, you can respond at your leisure, or not at all depending on the context and the person. Unless something is time sensitive, you respond when it’s convenient for you.

They may not like your response, they may get busy in the real world, something may have happened, or they may just decide they don’t like you. A million reasons. But not because they are ignorant.
