@JonLosAngeles66 I disagree, he made hints that he was hopefull, he wrote Contact, and was a founding member of SETI.

@NativePortlander1970 read Demon Haunted World. SETI is about communicating not visiting. He addresses it in there pretty clearly.
@JonLosAngeles66 We already have evidence of past visits, numerous ancient societies have made artifacts relating to them. What SETI is is the attempt to gain proof of current extra terrestrial life and their technology.
