Was the Earth ever flat? Well science is divided on the matter but many now believe that the Earth was flat up until the global flood

that wiped out the dinosaurs 4000 years ago. Indeed many of these scientists believe that it was the waters that cascaded down from the firmament that rounded off the Earth and changed it from being flat into (in the words of Mike deGrasse Tyson) 'an oblong Haemorrhoid'.

I am aware that this post is very scientific and that many of you simply do not have the science background that is required to debate this type of thing but it would be fascinating to hear your views. I thank you.

If the earth was flat like a rice cracker , would we see darkness on one side and sunshine on the other ???

Would oceans get cold / warm ?
Would waves fall off the edge of the rice cracker ?

And would we rotate faster ?
Would we have less than 24 hours in a day ? Would we have ice ?
