@SW-User Hey, that's my sister!

@SW-User And since birds evolved from dinosaurs, and dinosaurs would definitely have required combs to maintain their personal appearance and appeal, the comb ended up on roosters, who no longer have hair but are certainly vain!

@Mamapolo2016 Thank you for that. I always like to think that I have learnt at least one new fact each day.

@SW-User To be judged as "Best Comment" means much to me, particularly as having been awarded by a fellow member of the Intelligentsia. The baying crowd who scorn such theories as my own can, as they would say themselves, "get knotted".
Emboldened by this Award I would like to expand upon my theory. Remember, at the time of the dinosaurs, around 4000 BC, neither combs nor scissors had been invented. Thinking people - consider the implications. A tangle of overgrown hair obscuring the view of each and every dinosaur. Banging into trees, rocks - and how many would have plunged down into deep ravines, to their sad demise? And the fights between the poor creatures, having bumped into each other, blinded by hair, and assuming aggression.
Well, perhaps enough for now. I have still to fully integrate the Flood and its effects into my theory, but will soon be publishing my book:- "The Extinction of the Dinosaurs: The Full Facts", which will be available at all good bookstores.
Thank you.
