Today there are dangers but just think back to our ancestors 5-6000 years ago that had to defend themselves from the mighty dinosaurs.

Clearly, humans were much bigger then with the average height being 120 feet tall and weighed in at 80 ton's but it the dinosaurs would still have been formidable opponents.
