People of the US I really need your help. When I visited your fair land last year I was fascinated and indeed overcome by the quality and quantity
of your culinary delights. Unfortunately my good wife was unable to accompany me and I did want to share some of my gastronomic experiences with her.
I am trying to locate a vegetable (it may be a fruit, I am not 100% sure) but I do believe it is only available in the Americas.
The 'vegetable' I am looking for is brown in colour (color) and quite hard when uncooked, it has a lovely white flower on it's stem. I had tried them raw but found this disagreeable to the pallet however, when cooked they were delicious. I am not very sure of the name but I believe the locals referred to this delicacy as a 'tuber' or a 'potato'. I would like honour my wife by cooking some of these 'potato's' and to let her experience the gastronomical joy that I found in your dear country. Could you please tell me if there is some sort of export service that could deliver these 'potato's' to my home town of Skegness.
I respectfully await your guidance.
