What do you do for a living?

I rely on the equivalent of a pension - a small income from the investment of an inheritance from Mum.

For 20 years I was a part-time art teacher at primary, secondary and tertiary levels , then 20 years a horse breeder and trainer, for three years an age career... and, way back in student days, I had numerous unskilled jobs like waitress, life modelling, etc.

Nowadays, all the various forms of work I do are unpaid.

@Unlearn Do you hope to stay in your current position or are you aiming for promotion? Do you merely watching others or are you forced to watch your back to protect where you are?

I imagine it would be hard to practice equanimity if issues of survival are on the line.

@hartfire I am doing well in my current position. There is no threat to it either. Just that I it becomes stressful sometimes and politics exacerbates the whole situation. I am planning to look for greener pastures 😀
