Do you ever sense a competitive vibe in group settings?

Like someone talking over you or being overly critical when you speak? One up-ing etc. Real weirdo behavior. This is why I prefer one on one interactions. There's just too many moving parts when there's more than 3 people. And im too slow to process what's going on lol

You've got to own the conversation when dealing with interrupters. No need to be rude of course just politely say I'm still talking, I haven't finished my point, just let me finish this point, basically just bring it to their attention that they are being rude without straight up saying it. Do it once or twice and it will always be on their mind whenever you are speaking.

@Selah Plenty men have the same issue you're expressing and I'd give them similar advice. If you want to be heard, you've got to be intentional about it, but never confrontational.
