Most men prefer confidence from what I have seen.
There is a difference between shy and quiet though. Just because you don't have much to say doesn't mean you are shy. Shy means you are somewhat uncomfortable with interacting. Quiet is more of a disinterest. Men have no issues with that personality trait typically.

@MySpiritEvolves Exactly plus one can be shy at first but not once you get to know them more. If they're always shy then well it may not be so good and may make communication more difficult

@MySpiritEvolves Yes! It isn't playing coy or manipulation. Shy by definition can mean [quote]feeling uncomfortable, self-conscious, nervous, bashful, timid, or insecure.[/quote] Self conscious and insecure isn't attractive.
