@Condiment Serious question: Have you ever seen a genuine gorilla or chimp fossil comparable in age to a humanoid fossil?
If apes and chimps are older than humans they should be more advanced than they are. The only animal that I know of that hasn't changed over time is the horseshoe crab. Some gorillas can now make fire and walk upright. Their evolution is speeding up.
